Vanquish Mystique #19

3,495.00

Just like your favourite pair of jeans

The first thing you notice with this mystique is it's 'Faded Denim' finish underneath a satin lacqer

Along with it's gorgeous finish the custom wound Monty's V90 pickups have two output levels (accessed from the push-push tone pots) that enable both 'Vintage' and 'Modern' tones or equally can be used as a very natural sounding boost for lead work.

The neck on this guitar is what we'd call a 'Fat D' It's a big neck with tonnes of tone but at the same time not offensive. It just fits...

About the Mystique

In 2009 Adrian set about designing the Mystique - a Unique singlecut guitar with the familiarity that so many players long for.

But how do you better a design that fundamentally has been around since the 1950's? For Adrian it was simple, make it feel better, play better and sound better.

Firstly the Mystique neck join isn't like a typical tenon join that looses tone straight into the neck pickup cavity - it's unique design allows for a whopping 65 squared centimetres of wood to wood contact.

Secondly what if it ever needed a tremolo? The body has been designed so the strings run parallel to the body up to the bridge rather than tapering away meaning this is one of the few Singlecut designs that can properly take a tremolo.

In 2014 we set out to better ourselves even further, developing the unique Vanquish Tone Circuit, a 100% passive design that allows the player to set the amount of treble bleed to suit their playing style and rig. Additionally there is the facility to set the 'end stop' on the tone controls to tailor the range of adjustment - a vast improvement over the traditional primitive tone control. Furthermore these adjustments can be set independently for each volume and each tone control.
