About the Mystique

In 2009 Adrian set about designing the Mystique - a Unique singlecut guitar with the familiarity that so many players long for.

But how do you better a design that fundamentally has been around since the 1950's? For Adrian it was simple, make it feel better, play better and sound better.

Firstly the Mystique neck join isn't like a typical tenon join that looses tone straight into the neck pickup cavity - it's unique design allows for a whopping 65 squared centimetres of wood to wood contact.

The Mystique also uses only the finest materials in its construction, using Brazilian mahogany as a base it packs in a full resonant tone while keeping the weight sensible for longer sets, at under 8lbs this particular single cut is a wonderful weight and has a beautiful balance.

Austin GOLD recently used a Mystique loaded with a set of Bare Knuckle P90's on their EP -  'All The Way Down'. You can check out a few clips in the audio player.
